Parent Dedication, formerly known as Baby Dedication, is a very special day where parents bring their child in front of the church and make the commitment to raise their child according to God’s word. Dedication does not involve baptism. We believe baptism is meant for when a person makes a personal decision to follow Christ. Parent Dedication is held several times throughout the year. FNO is a night off for parents filled with lots of fun for kids. It’s for kids from birth thru 5th grade. Our dates for Fall FNO are September 9th and October 14th. Times are 6pm-10pm. Cost is $5 per child / $15 family max. Please watch the website for registration dates and more information.

Big Kid Celebration is a time to honor our preschoolers who will be entering Kindergarten. A light dinner and a special gift are given to the student. Parents and students are also introduced to the Children’s Ministry at Central. This event is held in August of each year.

For the past 5 years, Central Baptist has been host to a training conference for Weekday Preschool & MDO Teachers in the Brazos Valley. This conference can be used to meet the many training hours required by preschool programs. The conference is held the last Saturday of July.
