MOPS

Symptoms: Do you…

Think spaghetti is a finger food?

Sleep “like a baby” (up at 10,2, and 4)?

Write your grocery list in crayon?

Say “bye-bye” to everyone?

 Diagnosis: Mother of Preschooler

RX: Attend a MOPS meeting. Relief is usually immediate!

The years of raising a preschooler offer that odd combination of pure fulfillment and utter frustration! In the high stress period of mother’s life she often feels inadequate, isolated, lonely, and exhausted.

What’s a mother to do?

A MOPS group offers care and nurture to all mothers of preschooler (infant to school age) by working through the local church to meet theses women where they are. The MOPS ministry provides the church with a open door which effectively reaches women, their families, and their community. By offering a warm and caring environment for young mothers and their children, the church has an opportunity to meet needs, offer nurture, and demonstrate the difference a relationship with Christ can make in one’s life.

We meet at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.  at Central Baptist Church in College Station on alternate Thursdays of each month. Registration per semester will be $60.00 (there is no additional charge for childcare). A ( non-refundable) deposit of $25.00 will reserve your spot, provided space remains in your child’s class upon receiving your money. Spaces are assigned on a first come first serve basis.  If you have any questions, please contact Hollie Gardner, MOPS Coordinator, at hollie_jp@yahoo.com
